Cleaved follows the story of a prestigious scientist who finds themselves torn from their reality amidst the meltdown of their work.
Such an unforeseen incident splits existence itself and the residual damage should obliterated any life caught within the blast. Yet, the scientist survives against all odds, and awakens in lands unknown, their minds barren and confused.
Throughout this story, take the identity of this scientist to recover the pieces of your lost memories, and find yourself thrusted deep into a society never thought to be real by scientific standards. Build friendships, uncover secrets, explore the land, all to one day finally return home to the world you were ripped from.

this hurts because we dont know and i dont want to accepct the truth
when you see a good game on itchio it will have propably 2-4 ubdates a year but trust me its worth waiting
Will the initial Frasier and Skjold routes have a much more lasting impact in the later builds (different plot, relationship etc) or fo they only differ in minor things like dialogues and smaller plot points?

So I noticed a slight issue in text. Towards the end of this update when the MC is talking to themselves about where he would like to hide the book (right after he falls, he curses himself) He calls himself 'Brynn" instead of the assigned name I gave him. That's it though :). Also wanted to say that I'm absolutely obsessed! the writing, plot, art, and music are astounding! It really brings back a lot of heart-warming nostalgia back when Adastra was still a project. Aside from Haps's beautiful wolves, the plot is quite similar. I love it all, and thank you all so much for your hard work! <3
This is a really fun time so far! I popped here when I saw the character design artist who works on Northern Lights was here too and I leapt to try it out.

I have a big complaint to give, the story is highly captivating with the ability to make the reader put himself at the place of it all,almost like a living story.
Now to complaint: i just wanted this to continue without breaking the soothing spell of joy xD. Need more updates!

Wow what an amazing update seriously it was worth the wait! Calder is everything I was hoping he would be... that beautiful hunk.
I was surprised by the amount of content in build 2 every time i thought it was about to end there was more, the pacing was perfect. You introduced some great characters and dynamics to both routes that I'm excited to see more of and some story elements I wasn't expecting. this was such a great update.
Keep up the good work! Hyped for build 3.

Enjoying it so far, but the writing needs work. The language feels padded and flowery. Sometimes the wrong words are used as well. The art and sound are great, nice transitions, and the story-line is interesting. But I often have to reread a sentence because of syntax errors or incorrect wording.
This is the type 'f constructive criticism that someone needs. People usually just write bad things without giving reasons why.
I like the kindness and how carefully Skjold was before trusting Brynn. Using his easygoing nature to make MC feel at ease was smart. Would be nice if Skjold can use magic, even if little; since we have a ninja/thief hybrid which is cool.
Would love to see more heartwarming & lore conversation between him and Brynn.
What kind of Isekai are these guys watching to think this is a "generic" one?
It's a bit like the ye olde ones I suppose (beast folk included) but not like the modern cheap power fantasy ones (so far) ... but maybe we had something to do with that crater?
